Come join us for original Jazz fusion music. The Shop is a Toronto-based jazz quintet carving its path in Canada’s jazz scene. The Shop’s sound is a cross-pollination of seemingly opposite genres. The band subtly combines influences of gospel, pop-punk, R&B, and African music with the band’s mutual foundation in jazz. The band consists of Bureh Bollo-Kamara on guitar, Connor Moe on saxophones & flutes, Omar Gittens on the drums, Racha Moukalled on the vibraphone, and Carlo Santo Domingo on the bass. Racha is currently on hiatus with the band. Subbing in for Racha is Joseph Funk on trumpet. International food, music, and culture festival returns for its 21st anniversary celebration; July 4 - 6 Lawrence Avenue East between Warden Avenue and Birchmount Road.

Join trumpeter Muneeb Hermans and his jazz quintet perform jazz standards and his original tunes. Dinner and drinks within Contxt's art curated exhibit space makes for a luxurious evening out. Omar appears on drum set for this gig.
